Celle

Isaac got to see where his sister Johanna and her husband Timmy live. It's a small town in lower Saxony and it was untouched by the war.

København days

Wow this place was great! Found plenty of good food and sights. We also met some cool people who showed us around a bit!

København

We made it across the pond and have arrived safely in Denmark. An advertisement I saw claimed this country to be the world's oldest monarchy. Ummm, maybe except Japan? I guess it depends how you count. The church you see featured here is the "Church of our Savior," whose spire we home to climb tomorrow during visitation hours.

We also visited the [in]famous Freetown, within the Christiania district. Signs at the entrance read, "You are now leaving the European Union." Freetown is a gypsy-hippie-pothead-free for all area, within which Danish law enforcement (¿officially?) has no jurisdiction. In one small area all the pot vendors, with kerchief-masked faces and sunglasses, made Timmy put his camera away. They can't afford for their faces to be seen or their fully-illegal business would be compromised.

Very weird place. That's all for now.

Plan to be $pontaneous, tomorrow

Eric and I accidentally flew to Las Vegas. Now we are living la vida loca.

Just kidding. We came here on purpose. But we're still living la vida loca.

Just kidding. We got really cheap flights from Vegas to Copenhagen for June 18th, but the cheapest way for us to get to Vegas was today, June 15th. We figured that we'd figure it out, figuratively.

On Thursday we're thinking of going to this festival:

It's the EDC, a giant rave, possibly lasting several days. OK OK OK no. We were actually thinking of finding a piano in a fancy hotel lounge and performing our recital, maybe without permission. We'll just set out the piano case for people to throw Benjamins in.

Seattle

We've made it to Seattle! In a burst of creativity, I went to Starbucks. Because it's Seattle. Now it's a 5-day countdown till we fly out, but not to Europe just yet. No, first we have a 3-day layover in Las Vegas. Yikes!
